Old Gramophones - By Kel Lysaght
My partner and I recently visited Goulburn with some friends, and we came across the most wonderful second hand book and record store: Argyle Book Emporium.
There were rooms upon rooms lined with tall bookshelves that were just packed with beautiful books, old and new, spanning across several ages worth of publication.
Just when you thought you had seen it all, another room revealed itself to you, each seeming bigger than the last.
I had never seen anything like it. The collection of books within this manor-like old building far surpassed any library I’ve ever been to.
I was in Heaven. Overwhelmed by the sheer number of books. I especially loved all the classic-style books.
The collection of second hand vinyls near the back of the shop was also very impressive. If we had had longer in there, I would have loved to peruse them searching for some hidden gems, but there seemed to be no real order to how the records were organised. (Though if you asked the shop keeper, I’m sure he would have been able to tell you exactly where everything was)
These lovely old gramophones were in about the halfway point in the house, before the room full of records. If I hadn’t seen them, I probably wouldn’t have found the record room, or the huge room full of fiction right at the back.

I’ve set myself up with a Facebook page for my photography. You will see a few things on there that are different, but I’m also hoping to add most things that are on here.
Please check it out and gimme some like <3

I couldn’t decide what style I was going for with this shot, so I decided to upload both, side by side!
